Safe places to hunt after learning a shield?
I have found my magic shield to be a life saver. With my recently acquired equipment, I finally feel comfortable enough to explore, but I still do not want to risk the hassle of falling and trying to find new gear. I can comfortably explore these areas:
Light parts of the silver forest
Jungle
Grasslands
South Plains
Bandit Camps
Caves
Mining Town.
Are there any other places I may find interesting?
OOC: I am not looking for hints on quests or anything. I am just getting bored of the same-old areas, but I don't want to put myself in a situation where I would not be able to escape, such as the dark silver woods or the deep swamps. I don't mind a good old fashioned slug fest to try my skills, but a safe place to camp for a bit is always welcome.

Not that there are many (ie, two... one of which active), but for any magi that are lykos the dark parts are safe after shield since nothing will ambush them. Also, a good portion of the savannah is pretty safe, just have to know which areas should be avoided. Basically, if you find a lioness you're probably in the wrong spot. With enough food I suppose the desert could be fairly safe. Save, you know, the occasional fortress caravan running in with a snake. That's one way trip to pain-ville...
Probably a couple of islands that are relatively safe, but I have no real idea as to which ones, and you'd need a ship to get out there anyway. Hard to really say what's good or not without breaking 'help area' too much, but I think that list is pretty decent.

This is something that should be written up as an IC "document" to be left for apprentices, and put on the main section of the archives! No OOC talk here unless necessary!
